He seldom builds more than 3 houses at a time, always striving for locations in a tight geographic area to insure maximum time on site with subs, vendors, and homeowners. He does not employ superintendents or managers. "I typically visit your home 2-3 times a day, answer my cell phone when you call, and respond timely to emails."

He has a great group of subcontractors and vendors developed over the past 23 years, based upon their quality, reliability and price.

With a background of urban planning, residential development, real estate sales, property management, in addition to 23 years of home building, he offers a prospective homeowner a more complete knowledge of home building rather than one limited only to construction.

The completion of house plans by the architect is a point of departure for the homeowner and builder. "I will patiently explain, guide and assist you through the myriad of design decisions, budgeting, contract execution and administration, plan approvals, and governmental inspections. Along the way we will have some fun too, and enjoy this very exciting and special time in your life."

About Larry Wade

Larry Wade brings an extensive background of educational and work related experience to his home building business. After earning his MPA (1974) in Urban Management and Planning from the University of Memphis.he served as Senior Planner in the (rezoning and subdivision) Memphis and Shelby County Office of Planning and Development.

Moving to the private sector in 1980, he held a senior position in a large local development company and was responsible for the construction of numerous large residential properties from apartments to luxury condominiums, to single family subdivisions in Memphis, Tennessee and Destin, Florida.

In 1986, Larry started his own home building company, Chateaux du Monde, building fine homes in Memphis, Germantown, Eads, and Cordova, including prestigious subdivisions such as Riveredge, Bedford Plantation, The Preserve of Nottinghill, and Old Oaks. He was a leader in bringing European style homes to the Memphis area in the early 1990's.
